MAHE Online Learning Experience Through Learners’ Lens: Key Drivers and Takeaways

With the job market getting competitive every day, one of the most effective ways to stand out is to upgrade one’s skills to easily climb the career ladder. But with commitments and time constraints, it can get a little packed, limiting the possibilities. This is where online learning comes into picture.  

Online learning is the right call for students or working professionals as it facilitates them with the flexibility to take things at their own pace. It comes with a lot of promising offerings such as interactive multimedia content, personalized education, being able to revisit the study materials anytime and so on.

This blog highlights a recent survey revealing how online education has significantly impacted the latest batch of MAHE’s online learners, delivering transformative results. 

Learners’ outcome survey overview 

The purpose of the report was to analyze the student outcomes at different stages of their learning journey. Our respondents are established professionals from various industries and sectors. Below are the two perspectives through which we drew these numbers from.  

• Cohorts covered: Sem 1, Sem 2 and above 
• Programs covered: MBA, MCA, MSc in DS, MSc in Business Analytics, PGCP in Logistics & Supply Chain, PGCP in Business Analytics 

Most valued stage of the learning journey 

Every learner at each stage will have a different perspective when it comes to their virtual education journey. Hence the opinion of students was taken based on their academic level.  

For newly enrolled students 

When the new learners were consulted, below were some of the strong points that they found the most impactful during their learning journey.  

• 74% of the students shared positive feedback about the LMS platform that helps them to manage and track the course content. 
• The course content for the programs was found comprehendible and well-structured by around 71% of the students.   
• 70% of the students have found the curriculum excellent and it helps to provide them with the necessary knowledge base.   
• 69% of the learners found the class scheduling to be real lifesaver as it helped them adjust to their day-to-day activities and stepped in to strike a proper balance.   
• The mentor experience was found very insightful, enlightening and helpful by 69% of the enrolled individuals.   
• 69% of the program participants found the courses to be flexible enough for them to balance and have a seamless learning experience. 
• 67% of the students found the classroom learning experience quite impressive and nothing less than a real classroom. 
• Around 64% of students have found the doubt clearing sessions to be easy and accessible. 
• Learners have been finding MAHE’s programs very flexible and helpful. This is what an MBA student has to say, “With MAHE’s class schedules, juggling my job and studies is easier without compromising on the learning experience”.

For students from 2nd semester 

The students from second semester and above had a slightly different standpoint when asked about their important touchpoints of learning journey. Below were their opinions.  

• Around 79% of the students found it easy to use the LMS platform to undertake their classes and assignments.
• Having a world class curriculum, over 74% of the learners found it to be covering both foundational and advanced topics of the course. 
• 72% of our learners found the classroom learning experience to be excellent and encouraging. 
• 72% of the students find the mentor experience to be refreshing, approachable, and accessible at their desired times. 
• The class scheduling was found quite balancing by around 72% of students helping them to have an effortless experience. 
• Around 70% of the learners found their degree to be beneficial as it promises good job opportunities paving the way for good ROI.  
• 68% of students found the doubt clearing sessions to be interactive, supportive and student focused. 
• Over 65% of course takers have a positive inclination towards the placements that are conducted by the online program.  

Our survey among students also showed us that they are moving towards a promising future. This is what a MSc Data Science student shared with us “Being in the final semester, I can already see several opportunities lined up for me to take over once I am done with the course. All thanks to MAHE.” 

Why do learners choose MAHE’s online programs? 

This was the most important part of the survey as it reflected the main focus of why learners preferred to get their education via MAHE’s online programs. And the results have revealed a whole new perspective with some common pointers.  

• Around 75% of the students reported enhanced knowledge as per their specific area of interest. 
• 55% of the students improved their chances of getting a new job with the upscaling from MAHE’s programs.  
• Over 56% of learners wanted a degree from MAHE for its reputation and impressive academic merit.  
• Since many online learners are already working professionals, 56% of them reported receiving promotion opportunities within their current jobs.  

The above stats speak volumes, but our student feedback has been an even bigger testimonial for why they choose MAHE. A third semester MCA student revealed “A degree from MAHE is for sure going to uplift my resume to great heights for the academic reputation it carries helping me explore new opportunities.”  Another student from MBA program stated “Finally, I can switch to my desired field because this program from MAHE is going to help me land better jobs that align with my interests.”

A final semester MSc student added “Though I have not yet completed the course, I have been assigned a new project at work, which I am leading, all because of the knowledge I received from MAHE’s online learning”. An MBA student who is also a working professional mentioned “My knowledge base has drastically improved as I no longer second-guess my ideas in meetings. I speak up and contribute with clarity.”
